Erin Miller, M.S., CCC-SLP

Erin is a speech-language pathologist based in Rochester, NY. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice in the state of New York. Erin received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nazareth College of Rochester, and a Master of Science from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Erin has received advanced training in the areas of Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs).

Erin has three young daughters of her own- she is not only a treating therapist but also a parent in this space. Erin has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for 18 years. She is experienced in a variety of settings and levels.  Her experience includes working with toddlers, preschool, and school-age children in both early intervention and school-based settings.  She evaluates and treats children with a wide variety of speech-language and hearing needs. Erin is proficient in building rapport by individualizing treatment plans and incorporating interests. She collaborates with healthcare and related professionals such as pediatricians, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and developmental specialists. Erin prides herself on maintaining a collaborative team-mindset with emphasis on a holistic approach to treatment.  Erin displays confidence, and a positive attitude. She cultivates positive relationships with clients and families by effectively communicating throughout the treatment process. 

Fun fact, Erin is also a certified canine handler, allowing her the opportunity to offer animal assisted intervention and visitations.  Her certified therapy dog, Maisy, is a fun & friendly, mini-goldendoodle.
